1. Introduction

Welcome to Gee. Gee is operated by Presence Network Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), the company responsible for the service and the data controller for the purposes of applicable data protection legislation. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

Voice audio captured during your sessions with Gee
Text transcriptions of your voice input
Profile details you provide (such as your name), and text messages you type to Gee
Account information (e.g. email address) if you create an account

Information collected automatically:

Device type, operating system version
App usage analytics
Crash reports and error logs

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Deliver and improve the Gee experience
Build and maintain your personal memory within the app
Diagnose technical problems and improve performance
Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. AI Processing

Gee's replies are generated by our own fine-tuned AI model, which runs on infrastructure rented from specialized hosting providers. Depending on real-time factors such as current traffic and availability, any given reply may be routed to any one of our hosting providers — including Together.ai and Novita.ai, alongside other trusted providers (we keep this section up to date). To produce a reply, your messages and the conversation context are sent securely to these providers, solely to run Gee's model — never for their own products or models. You remain anonymous to these providers: they never receive your full name or account details, and the transmitted data is not stored on their servers after your reply is generated. The app asks for your consent before your first message is processed.

Your conversations are not used for AI training unless you enable "Improve the model for everyone" (Settings → Data Controls, off by default) — and even then only to improve our own model, never a third party's.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers and transmitted over encrypted connections. Conversations are linked to your account only — not to your public identity. Gee may use the first name you choose to share to personalize her replies.

To provide Gee's memory feature, a concise summary of key points you share during your conversations may be stored and tied to your account ID. This is strictly necessary to deliver the service — Gee uses it solely to remember context between sessions. You can review and permanently delete this memory at any time directly from within the app.

6. Data Retention

We retain your conversation data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is erased immediately and any copies in our backups are purged within 30 days. Purchase and billing records required by law are kept for 7 years in anonymized form. To delete your data, see Section 7.

7. Your Rights and Deleting Your Data

This applies to the Gee app by Presence Network Inc.

You delete your data yourself in the app — open the menu (☰) → Settings → Data controls:

Clear Chat History — permanently deletes all your chat messages from your device. Your account stays active.
Delete Account — permanently deletes your account and all associated data: your profile data, your conversations, and Gee's memory of you.

Both take effect immediately and cannot be undone.

What we keep: purchase and billing records required by law, for 7 years and anonymized, plus a minimal record that the deletion took place.

You also have the right to access or correct your data and to withdraw consent. For that or any other special request, write to [email protected] — we reply within 30 days.

8. Children

Gee is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age.

Gee's AI is grounded in Christian teachings and values, making it not only a safe companion for children and teenagers, but a meaningful support in their daily lives — helping them reflect, grow, and navigate life's challenges with guidance rooted in faith.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email.
